House. Late C16 and C17 with late C18 and C19 reworkings. Substantial timber
framing with red brick infill, with some of red brick casing. Clay tile
roofs. T-plan, earlier main block, of 2 storeys and attics, later cross-wing
of 2 storeys. C20 3-light casements, 2 to each floor of main block, one to
each floor of RH cross-wing. Main block has panelled door in moulded
surround, with moulded cornice hood on cut brackets. This is in line with
substantial red brick ridge stack which has linked octagonal shafts with
moulded bases and caps. RH cross-wing front elevation faced in late C18 brick,
with flared bricks giving mottled effect. C19 red brick integral stack to RH
side wall. C19 additions to side and rear of cross-wing.
