House, formerly a rectory. Early C19 with later reworkings. Red brick with
hipped slate roof. Later additions in red and yellow brick, parts rendered.
2 storeys and attics. Double-pile plan. Later C19 2 storeyed addition to NW.
NE elevation: dominated by projecting 2 storeyed gabled block, apparently a
later C19 addition. The front wall of this is rendered with Doric tetrastyle
portico surmounted by triangular pediment. Central part-glazed door flanked
by side-lights and surmounted by rectangular fanlight. SW elevation: 4-window
facade. Off-centre semi-octagonal bay to ground floor. French windows to LH
and to projecting bay. All other windows are sashes with glazing bars. Attic
has 2 box dormers containing 2-light horizontal sashes with glazing bars. 2
red brick ridge stacks.
