Pair of attached houses, now shop and cafe at ground floor with living accommodation
above. Circa 1750, with C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered stone rubble. Slate
mansard roof with brick end stack to right.
Double depth plan with central entrance to open passage, giving access to right and
left; one room to front and rear each side, with rear service wing to right and left.
2 storeys and attic on plinth. Ground floor has central doorway in plain raised
surround, plain door with flat hood on brackets. Plate-glass shop window to left in
raised surround with cambered head; plain plate-glass window to right. First floor
has central 2-light casement, to right a 2-light casement and to left a paired 12-
pane sash, both in plain raised, surrounds, 2 C20 rooflights; moulded eaves cornice.
Interior Much altered, with walls between front and rear rooms at ground floor
removed.
