The Grey House

House. Mid C18. Rubble with brick dressings, rendered right return, 2-span
roof in slate to front, pantiled rear. 2 storeys and 3 windows, all sashes,
larger at ground floor, with brick relieving arches, external shutters at first
floor and wooden frieze, central panelled and glazed door with segmental hood on
cast iron trellis with splayed bars in tympanum of hood; curtain wall left and
right with ball finial and coping, ramped down to outer sides about 4 metres high,
small 2-pane light in wall to left. Right return has single storey block behind
curtain wall with small 2-light casement to side and 3-light casement to rear,
porch to right with pitched roof and plain door with segmental hood; single
light at first floor in block to right, 2-light attic casement to right of large
external stack in block to left. Interior: not inspected.
