Barn and shippon at
3/117 Hedgerow Farm

Barn and shippon: probably early C18. Dry stone buff sandstone.
rubble with projecting through stones. Kerridge stone slate roof,
stone ridge. East front has 2 doors, 1 with a wooden lintel and
projecting rubble course above, 1 in a hammer-dressed surround.
Between are 2 square pitch holes and some ventilation slots.

A late example of dry stone wall construction of the type seen earlier
at barns at Rainowlow Farm and Wright's Farm, Kettleshulme (q.v.).
