House. Circa early - mid C19, with additions of later C19 and some C20 alterations.
Stone rubble; stucco front. Rendered at the left side. Asbestos slate roof with
ridge tiles and gable ends. Gable end stacks with brick shafts.
Plan: 2-room plan, with central entrance and principal room to front right and left,
each room heated from a gable end stack. Later in the C19, an addition of 2-room
plan was made along the whole of the rear, with an unheated dairy to right and a
kitchen to left, heated from a stack at the left end. A stair was built in between
the two rear rooms.
Exterior: 2 storeys, symmetrical 2-window front on plinth with band course. Ground
floor has central C19 4-panelled door with overlight, set in a recess with panelled
reveals, flat hood with cornice on posts with pilasters with carved decorative
pattern. Ground floor right and left a late C19 margin-glazed sash. First floor
right and left an early C19 16-pane. At the rear, there is a central C20 half-glazed
door with margin-glazed sash to left and 4-pane sash to right. First floor has 4-
pane sash to left, margin-glazed stair light and C20 window to right. There is a
single storey outhouse attached to left, of late C19.
Interior: The room to front right has C19 chimneypiece.
