A corner block turning from Hill Road into Copse Road. Early C19, No 36 is a
chemist's shop established in 1837. 2 storey ashlar fronts, No 36 painted and
Christiana roughcast. Dentil cornice, blocking course and paired pilasters to
No 36. Arched window recesses to whole front. 6 windows, sashes with glazing
bars. Complete early C19 curved shop front on corner with Ionic pilasters and
overall fascia with anthemion moulding. 6-panel door in Copse Road. The shop
front is a unique survival in Clevedon.

Nos 36 and 38 together with Christiana, Close Road, Nos 1 to 3 (consec) and
St Anthony's School Marine Hill form a group
