Public road bridge over the Llangollen Branch of the Shropshire Union
Canal, circa 1793. Engineering bricks with added surface treatment.
Splayed out abutments. Semi-circular arch and one brick deep
projecting carriageway level ring. Stone and concrete replacement
edging to the canal, under the arch, but no paving. Splayed parapet
approach walls and humped carriageway and parapet. Rounded stone
parapet copings and rounded return ends to pier caps.
