Riding School, c.1880, largely single storey, timber-framed on tall
sandstone plinth. Red tile roofs with gables, but half-hipped to
right. Projecting gabled cross feature right of centre, 2 storey with
hayloft under jettied gable above entrance. Shaped oak boarded
entrance door with 2-light mullioned fanlight above and 2-light
transomed wing lights to each side. Other windows mullioned and
transomed in oak with small- pane iron casements, except small attic
above hayloft and lights above doorway, where leaded. Carthouse forms
part of the building (with tile roof renewed), left. Stone walled
loose-yard, right, links the building to the stud stables.
