Large country house. C18 altered, colourwashed brick with balustraded
parapet on south east front, hipped old tile roof. Originally square on plan
with service wing to north west. 2 storeys. South east and south west fronts
each have 3 angular bays with string at first floor level, vertical sliding
sash windows with glazing bars and French casements on ground floor.Large C19
and C20 extensions added on north east.Interior contains C18 staircase with
delicate turned balusters and some C18 fireplaces removed from Shinfield Manor.
