5/11 Vine Cottage

Cottage. Late C15 hall house with C17 extension all altered, timber framed
with brick infilling, old tile roof, T-plan. Original build 4 framed bays
on north with C17 chimney inserted in former smoke bay, 2 bay C17 extension
on south and at right angles to original. 2 storeys. All windows C20 leaded
2 and 3-light casements, irregular, C20 entrance door in centre south front
of C17 extension, C20 single storey extension on north.Interior contains most
of good quality timber frame visible and intact, roof in C15 part retains
plastered, heavily sooted smoke bay and rafters.
