Country house, now nursing home. Mid C19 with later addition. Ashlar, (roof
not visible); wing at rear of coursed squared stone with Welsh slate roof.
Two storeys. 7-bay symmetrical facade, the corners and centre bay marked by
giant Ionic pilasters. Distyle, recessed, Ionic portico. 12-pane sashes in
raised surrounds. Sill bands. Moulded eaves cornice and deep ashlar parapet
concealing roof. Two-bay addition to left (rendered), in-keeping. The right
return is similarly treated and is of 4 unequal bays marked by pilasters,
again with a distyle recessed Ionic portico.
Interior: open staircase at rear with slender turned balusters and a moulded
hand rail swept at the base. Panelled round arches in hall.
