Mile post. Mid-late C19. Cast-iron front of triangular plan attached to round-
topped ashlar sandstone back.
Left side reads: "DONCASTER/13 MILES".
Right side reads: "BOROBRIDGE/31 MILES/WETHERBY/18 1/2 MILES/LEEDS/14 1/2 MILES/ABERFORD/
11 1/2 MILES/PONTEFRACT/1 1/2 MILES".
Top reads: "BARNSDALE & LEEDS/ROAD/CARLETON".
On the sloping triangular top is cast the makers' names, "BRAYSHAW & BOOTH/MAKERS/
LIVERSEDGE".
