One house of C17 which has been divided. Two storeys in ashlar with stone slate roof Kneeler and gable coping of C17 remain to No 4. Two windows in stone architraves, hung sashes without glazing bare. Ground floor is occupied by a modern shop front. No 6. Three windows, two to right joined, stone architraves. Two windows on ground floor, similar architraves. Panelled door in stone pilastered surround with cornice. Plain architrave in stone to panelled door to right.

The only remaining evidence of C17 date on the front elevation is a string course across the front and some peculiar decoration above the foundations and forming a plinth. The latter is a series of carved volutes similar to the plinth of East Riddlesden Hall at Keighley, about 1640. At the rear, the windows are of C18. Some have original leaded glazing of that date. Two of them are of six lights each.

Nos 2 to 8 (even) form a group with Nos 2 to 8 (even) and Nos 16 to 20 (even) Market Place. Nos 4 to 6 also form a group with the garden alcove at rear of No 6.
