barn adjoining to right

Former dwellings and barn in row. 1691 (dated). Coursed rubble. Quoins. Stone
slate roof. Two storeys. Dwellings, to left of group, have entrance to right,
adjacent to barn, with deep Tudor arched lintel inscribed: 16 ML" 91 and chamfered
reveals. Later doorway to left. Two 2-light double chamfered windows to ground and
first floors, one of the latter with mullion removed. Central fireplace with arched
lintel and tapering stack. Barn to right with large central doorway with timber
lintel with hood mould. Small, blocked doorway to right of this, with deep lintel and
chamfered reveals. Slightly later addition to right gable has wide doorway with deep
lintel. In gable apex is opening with inscribed surround: GET
1754
Simple trusses to main barn with struts.
