Back to back weavers houses. 1790 (dated). Hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof.
Three storeys and attic. South elevation: 3 dwellings each consisting of entrance and
3-light stone mullioned window to ground floor. Two 1-light stone mullioned windows
to first floor. Continuous 8-light window, with centre 2 lights blocked, to second
floor. North elevation: 3 dwellings. The 2 dwellings to left consist of entrance and
3-light stone mullioned window with stepped lintel. First floor: one 6-light and two
2-light windows. Second floor: two 8-light window, each with centre 2 lights blocked.
No 189: has 3 and 4-light stone mullioned windows. Entrance on west gable in modern
porch. East gable: single and 2-light windows mainly blocked. Inscription over door
to No 183 reads: ERECTED
