Yew Tree Mills (Small
Block to West)

II


Small detached mill building. Mid C19. Hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof with
gable copings and modillion brackets on string course to gutter. Two storeys and
attic. Gable frontage with Venetian window in apex, and large 3-light window to first
floor with double doorway to right reached by single flight of stone steps. Three
single lights to ground floor. Side elevations of 8 bays. South elevation has
possible former 10-light window with continuous sill and 4 blocked lights to first
floor. Bridge link on north side. Most windows have glazing bars.
