Terrace of four houses with underdwellings. Early C19, with C20 alterations. Hammer dressed stone. Stone quoins. Stone slate and tiled roofs. Various stacks, some ashlar. Three storeys.
Street front has four frontages each of 2 bays, each dwelling consisting of: Ground floor: entrance (one in modern porch), and one 4-light stone mullioned window (some mullions removed). First and second floors: two 3-light stone mullioned windows (some mullions removed and one light blocked). Nos. 230/242 has one 6-light window to first floor with 2 mullions removed, and one 5-light stone mullioned window. One 2-light stone mullioned window to north-east gable, first floor.
