Circa 1830-40 pair of houses. Two-storeys and basement. Sandstone ashlar
4 bay symmetrical front. Horizontal grooving to ground floor with platband
over. Plain frieze to projecting eaves cornice. Stone slate roof. Revealed
sashes, the grooving struck in on ground floor. Centrally grouped house doors
flanking passage entry; Tuscan pilasters and entablature overall with projecting
cornice. The first floor windows above have architrave surrounds extended to
enclose shallow aprons below sills. Area railings.
