Late C18 house with former barn sub-divided in C19. Two-storeys, large
sandstone "bricks". Stone slate roof with coped gable ends and prominent
kneelers. Three light square mullion windows, some altered. Plain squared
jamb doorways to centre. Single and 3 light square mullion windows intact to
rear garden front. The former barn with stone slate roof adjoins. No 1 is
circa 1840-50 to extension with 2 light square mullion windows.
