L-plan block of circa 1800 cottages of slightly different builds. Two-storeys,
sandstone "brick". Nos 2 and 4 probably C18 with longer gritstone "bricks".
Stone slate roofs with corniced chimneys. Single and 2 light square mullion
window in squared surrounds. Sill band to Nos 4 and 5 (Partly rough cast).
No 6 an addition of circa 1840 with similar details. Squared jamb doorways.
Included for interest as vernacular cottage group.
