Terrace of 3 cottages. Probably late C18. Coursed squared gritstone, graduated stone slate roof. A pair of 2-storey, 2-bay cottages with an additional 2-storey, l-bay cottage added to left. Quoins to main range. The paired cottages, centre and right (Holly Cottage and Pear Tree Cottage) have a central door (4-panel left, C20 board door right), flanked by 6-pane side-sliding sashes all in plain stone surrounds. Shaped kneeler and gable coping to right; banded stacks left and right and a large shared stack centre. Additional cottage to left (Low Hall Cottage): 6-panel part-glazed door right, sashes and surrounds as main range. Shaped kneeler, gable coping and banded end stack left. Included for group value.
