2 pairs of gate-piers and 4 gates. C18. Ashlar with wrought-iron gates.
Inner and outer pairs of gate-piers: square section, approximately 3 metres
high. Chamfered rustication and pyramid finial to outer piers, ball finials
to inner piers. Outer pair of gates: single leaves, bars and dog bars with
roundels at lock-rail. Inner pair of gates: double leaves, same style as
outer pair, but with fleur de lis finials to dog bars and bars.
