House. Mid-late C18, with C19 alterations. Orange-red brick in Flemish
bond to front; dressed sandstone to sides and rear; ashlar quoins and
dressings; pantile roof; brick stacks. Central stairhall plan, 1½ rooms
deep with rear service extension added. 3-storey, 3-window front. Raised
quoins. Central projecting C19 2-storey porch has 4-panel door under
fanlight, with a glazed iron bay window above. Late C19 canted bay with
sashes on each side. Tall 4-pane sashes to first floor; square 4-pane
sashes to second floor. All upper windows have eared and shouldered stone
architraves. Raised first and second floor bands. Moulded eaves cornice.
Coped gables and end stacks. At rear the original front doorcase has been
reset; patterned fanlight with fluted pilasters and entablature and cornice
over. On left gable wall is a 12-pane attic window, and 2 false 12-pane
windows at first and second floor levels.
