House, now divided into flats. Late C18 - early C19 with C20 porch to cross
wing. Limestone rubble brought to course, Westmorland slate roof. 5-bay
main range with cross wing to rear at left and to front at right. 2
storeys, 6 first-floor windows with one window to left return of cross wing.
Steps to porch with elaborate early C20 shell hood in second bay.
Pedimented porch to cross wing. Sashes with glazing bars throughout, those
to ground floor with wooden wedge lintels each incorporating a blank shield.
Original rainwater heads. Plain parapet with ball finials. Hipped roof.
End and ridge stacks.
