Tanning shed now cowshed. c1860. For Thomas Baxter. Squared limestone
with tooled quoins; red brick interior wall in English garden wall bond;
pantile and corrugated asbestos roofs. 3 parallel ranges of 5 bays,
reducing to 2 three bay ranges beyond the interior wall. Single-storey, 3-
bay north front. Wide opening beneath long timber lintel to centre bay;
flanking bays obscured by attached buildings. Parallel pitched roofs. East
side: 4 small-paned windows. Interior: the roof of each range is carried on
fine king-post trusses on moulded cast-iron columns.
