Pair of houses, late C18 or early C19. Incised rendered walls; pantiled roof
with stone dressings, brick stacks, tiled ridge. One build. 2 storeys and
attic, each 2 bays. Summerest has 4-panel door under small gabled wood porch;
15-pane fixed light, with external boarded shutters, to right. Two 12-pane
sashes on first floor; all windows have inserted tiled cills. Pantiled roof
dormer with rendered checks, bracketed soffit and Yorkshire sash. Peters House
has similar tiny porch holding 6-panel door; and 24-pane tripartite window with
central opening section. Two late C19 sashes in box frames, above. Roof dormer
taller but otherwise similar to that of Summerest. Coping and kneeler at left
gable end; chimneys at both ends.
