House. Early C19 with later additions and alterations including extension
to right of no special interest. Pinkish-brown brick in Flemish bond with
cast tile roof and ashlar dressings. Central hallway plan. 2 storeys, 3
bays. Plinth. 3 steps to central entrance with C20 glazed door beneath
radial fanlight with decorative glazing within doorcase with engaged
columns, frieze and hood. 12-pane pivoting windows throughout with ashlar
sills and wedge lintels. Ashlar kneelers and coping. End stacks. To rear:
staircase window a 16-pane sash with radial glazing to head, ashlar sill,
round arch with imposts and keystone. Interior: open well staircase with
turned balusters. Fluted architraves to doors. Alcoves to sitting room.
Staircase arch. Pilastered surround to staircase window. 6-fielded-panel
doors.
