Granary approx.70 metres north of
Cranley Hall

GV II

House, now granary. Early C18, converted to granary C19.
Plastered and colourwashed timber frame, partly weatherboarded
and partly reconstructed in brick. Roof of corrugated tiles.
2 storeys. 2-window range. North front with brick ground
floor. Open cartshed abuts entire length. One 3-light and one
5-light mullioned window to first floor, partly blocked with
ventilating laths. Gabled roof. No stacks. Weatherboarded east
gable above open cart access. South side with ovolo-moulded
mullioned window at first floor.
INTERIOR: chamfered bridging and tie beams. Butt purlin roof
with collars and queen struts. Included for group value.
