House. 'James & Eliz. / Ward 1735' on plaque in gable. Orange-brown
brick with magnesian limestone ashlar dressings ansd pantile roof.
Central hallway plan. 2 storeys, 4 first floor windows. Brick plinth.
Step to C20 glazed door. Outer bays with 20-pane sashes, inner bays
have sashes with glazing bars. All openings under segmental arches of
gauged brick and with stone cills. 4-course first floor band.
Modillion eaves band. Swept roof. Magnesian limestone kneelers and
coping to gable ends. End stacks. Interior: chamfered beams with plain
stops to most rooms, some boxed in. Bressummer beam, to kitchen
fireplace. Original latch and 2 wall cupboards to right-hand ground
