St John the Baptist

Pair of headstones. Late C18. Slate. The northern headstone is round-headed and
commemorates Martha Greenslade, died 1788. It has a decorative border and a
clockface carved in the head flanked by a trumpeting angel and the kneeling figure of
piety. The southern headstone has a scrolly head with canted corners and
commemorates Maria Greenslade, died 1785.
