WESTON COLVILLE THE GREEN TL 6252 (South west side) 14/116 No 60 (Lupin Cottage GV II Cottage. Late C17 subdivided and extended c.1840. Now one dwelling. Timber frame, wattle and daub infill and rendered walls with reed thatch roof, half hipped. Ridge stack, rendered. Three bays including a narrower buttery/storaye bay at north west end. One storey and attic. Two full gable dormers with C19 casements. One leaded stairlight window and two ground floor iron frame casements. Two boarded eaves. At south east end, a single bay c.1840 addition with a slate roof. One similar iron frame casement to the end wall. On the south west side a thatched lean-to addition of C18-C19. This probably incorporated a bread oven now removed. Interior: back to back hearths, including the inglenook and a smaller contemporary hearth to the parlour. Side purlin roof and typical framing. Opposing front and rear doorways leading off the hall.
