SX 9576 DAWLISH OLD TOWN STREET

Built by 1811 but altered in Mid C19. Two storeys stuccoed. Hipped
slate roof. Five windows with verticals only, round-headed porch to
main entrance. The ground floor has a long hood forming a verandah with
no supports. French window on this side. Right side Victorian wooden
and glass verandah. Interior had early C19 staircase with cast iron
Anthemion motif balusters and gallery landing. Doorcases having cornices
with decorations and architaves with paterae and incised glyphs.
The building is now used as offices by Dawlish Town Council.
