House formerly the Grapes P.H., dated 1741, enlarged late
c1970's at rear. Gault brick with red brick dressings to doors,
windows and quoins with steeply pitched plain tiled roof. Saw
tooth eaves cornice and end parapets on red brick kneelers. Two
storeys. Symmetrical elevation of three window range in
segmental arches. Later casements with small panes, except for
centre first floor dummy panel with initials RHM and date 1741
with vine leaf border. Original central doorway now blocked.
Interior has stop chamfered main beam, framed partition wall,
and original inglenook hearth.
