GV II

Two houses, formerly one, possibly a farmhouse. Mid C16 or earlier and early
C17. C20 renovations. Timber-framed with plaster infill and plastered.
Rebuilt brick plinth. C20 plain tiled roof. Large red brick stack behind
ridge with three square shafts reduced, and end stack to back range. Two
storeys. L-plan. Rear wing earlier, of three timber-framed bays with centre
bay originally framed for a window and possibly a door; projecting ceiling
beam may be an insertion. Main street range of four close-studded
timber-framed bays with original entrance blocked. One entrance to left hand
with C20 glazed panelled door, three first floor and three ground floor
casement windows of various sizes.
