House. Mid C17. Timber framed, with brick and flint banded
noggings, gables stone quoined, with dispersed stone and flint.
Thatched roof. Two storeys, 2 bays with central half bay
containing entrance, parlour to south side, living room on north,
with a timber framed single bay rear extension. Central panelled
door with stone frame, thatched canopy on brackets. Canted paned
bay windows either side and C17 oriel windows on single carved
brackets to chambers above, each with a pent tiled roof, and tall
timber framed gable. Carved pendants to barge boards. Date over
porch reads 1666. C17 brick stacks. To rear, various tile hung
extensions of c1920. Interior: Not seen. Large open fireplaces
to both gable ends with timber lintels. Oven to northern end.
Secondary stair in corner of parlour.
