SD 49 SE UNDERBARROW AND UNDERBARROW
BRADLEYFIELD

1/22 Fallen Yew Farmhouse

G.V. II

House, mid C17 with added crosswing on South West end and later alterations.
Roughcast walls, greenslate roof laid in diminishing courses with slates swept
round valley on North West side. Variety of chimneys including one with
circular shaft on gable end of crosswing. 2 doors under lean-to porch on South
East, 2 modern sash windows with single sash above in wing to left; 1 Cl9 sash
to each floor to right. 2 windows with timber mullions to upper floor; door and
iron framed casement to ground floor of storerooms to right. Interior has C17
staircase with turned balusters; timber framed partition; plaster cornice and
beam to room at top of stairs; old stone stair. See also RCHM p.231.
