Cottage and byre, now cottage. Late C16, altered C20. Timber frame with painted brick
and render infill. Thatched, gabled roof. Rectangular plan of three framed bays and
former byre of two framed bays. 2 storeys. Gable chimney on right. Irregular C19
casements, 2 on upper level,3 on ground floor. Central 6-panel door in moulded case
and plain flat hood. Interior: most of timber frame exposed. Principal beams on ground
floor have chamfers, those in former byre are plain. Adjoins Telford Cottage to left,
listed separately, 2/2.
