Farm house. C16, C17, C18 with C19 and C20 alterations. Brick, tiled roofs.
Earliest block runs east to west, C18 block, square on plan set at west
end. 2 storeys to east block; 3 storeys west block; east block has large
C16 stack, top rebuilt C20, on north side; west block has bands at floor
levels and base of parapet on north and south, dentilled eaves cornice on
east and west, hipped roof and chimney off centre to south. North Elevation:-
East Block:- 4 casements to left of large stack with chalk and flint chequer
patterned base, catslide roof breaks forward over outshut to right with
hipped C20 dormer above coupled glazing-bar sashes. West Block:- broken
into 3 bays by full height pilasters, all windows are glazing bar sashes
with exposed box frames under rubbed brick arches with large keystones,
those on first floor with cambered heads, ground floor with semi-circular
arches and brick tympana; one window to each bay, end bays being narrower;
central 6 panel door under gabled C19 porch. West Elevation:- broken
into 2 bays by full height pilasters; windows glazing bar sashes with
exposed box frames and cambered heads; one window on 2nd floor of left
hand bay, 2 windows in right hand bay on first and second floors, 6 panel
door in semi-circular arched opening in left bay of ground floor, recessed
glazing bar sash in right bay of ground floor.
