Mid to late C19. Massive wall about 100 yds long in pennant rubble supporting
terrace to entrance front of Willsbridge Castle and returned to south-east
with 25 yd crenellated section dying into hillside. Main section has irregular
openings with railings (giving an unusual air of crenellation from below).
Pier to road entrance to north-east end with corniced capping.
