Public House, formerly the Lodge to Gayhurst House. Mid C18, altered
C19. Ashlar stone, tiled roof with parapet, brick chimney flanked by
two octagonal turrets having ogee lead domes with iron finials. Right-
hand turret has gothic arched door with lancet window above. Left-
hand turret has one lancet window. 2-storeys, canted bay window to
front with stone mullions to both floors, transomes to ground floor.
Flank elevations have 2-light stone mullioned windows. Carved panel in
front with "GW* 1751" and "WC+1882". Modern wing on left, rendered with
tiled roof.
