House. C17, refronted 1849. Ashlar C19 elevations. coursed
rubble others. Old tile roofs. 2 storeys. Letter L-plan; each
wing of 2 bays. West and North (or rear) elevations with C18
casements, but main elevations to south and east refaced in
1849. South wing has 6-panel door to right hand bay. 3-light
stone mullioned ground floor casements, 2-light to first floor
and eaves breaking with stone gables. Lozenge pattern glazing
bars. Street gable elevation of north wing has canted stone bay
window to ground floor, cross-casement to first floor and in
gable date shield inscribed "A.D.1849' Coped gables with kneelers.
North wing has C17 ashlar stack in centre with moulded base and
caps. West and South gables have similar stacks, but rendered.
South gable of south wing has 2-light casements, stone plinth
and brick gable.
