SX 08 SW ST ENDELLION PORT GAVERNE
2/107 Limekiln 2m to south east of the
- Union Cellars
GV II
Limekiln, now disused. Circa early C19. Stone rubble with dressed stone arches.
Square plan with dressed stone basket arches and deep splayed reveals to openings on
north west and south east. Kiln flue survive intact.
Built into steeply sloping bank with slate stone retaining wall to provide access for
top loading.
The limekiln was built 150m to the south west of Port Gaverne quay.
