14/27 Chest tomb, 15 yards to south-
east of south porch of
Parish Church of St Mary
G.V.
II
Double chest tomb. Late C18. Limestone ashlar. Oval panels, enriched pilasters
with moulded cornice. A rare example of a double tomb. The chest tombs represent
a good collection of classical and local tomb forms and contribute to the setting
of the church.
