GV II

Stable block. Larly C18, belonging to original house. Timber framed with red
brick infill, mainly rendered with pebbledash. Hipped old clay tile roof,
central block with zigzag pattern. Set around 3 sides of a courtyard, 2
storeys. Each elevation facing on to the courtyard has 2 2-light first floor
casements, mainly metal with glazing bars. W wing has 3 ground floor cast
iron casements and 2 doorways with cut bracketed pedimented door hoods.
Central wing has similar central doorway, 2-light casement to L, C20 garage
doors and single-light casement to R. E wing has 4 carriage arches with
double doors. Central block has C19 clock turret with gabled roof. Red brick
multiple ridge stack to W wing.
