Mid C18, covered market. A flat hipped tile roof, supported at the back on a
brick wall and elsewhere by beams resting across square wooden pillars standing
on stone plinths, 6 in front and 4 on each side. The bay between the forward
pair of these pillars on each side remains open, making a portico along the front.
The rest is partitioned off, on the west by a modern shop-window and on the east
by the sashes of trellis work forming an old butcher's shop-front.
