C17 and C18 cottage. Colourwashed plaster over timber frame, thatch. L-plan
with C18 gabled wing on left hand towards street. One storey and attics, one
dormer. Nos. 40 and 42 have three 2-light windows with leaded panes. Two
double-sided chimneys.
