Estate cottages. Plaques show 1848 and Duke of Bedford's crest. Mottled pink
brick with dressings, and some patterning in red brick. Clay tile roofs. The
4 cottages form a long row, with slightly projecting gables to centre and ends
of front elevation, and projecting gables to ends of rear elevations. One
storey and attics. 6 ground floor windows, those to gables of 3-lights, those
to recessed bays of 2-lights. 4 2-light casements to attic. Almost all
windows are cast iron lattice casements. No. 50 has 2 C20 rooflights. Nos.
49 and 52 are entered by gabled brick porches to side elevations. Nos. 50 and
51 have gabled brick porches flanking central projecting gables. Porches have
round arches, those to Nos. 49 and 52 now filled by C20 doors. 4 red brick
multiple ridge stacks.
