SU 98 SE SLOUGH CHURCH LANE (South side)

2/22 The Old Corner House
II
House. Mid to late C18. Red brick with old tile roof. 2 storeys. Plat
band, cornice band, coped parapet, and end stacks. 3 bays, glazing bar
sashes with exposed boxes and gauged heads. Central 6-flush panelled door
with 2 upper panels glazed, and doorcase with fluted Doric pilasters
supporting entablature and triangular pediment. One storey wing projecting
to left with coped parapet and corner piers with orb finials. One glazing
bar sash to front and door in right-hand return front. Fire Insurance
plaque on right-hand gable end.
