GV II

Farmhouse, now 2 houses. C17. Rubble walls, now pebbledashed.
Steep asbestos slate roof; large rendered rubble end stack on
the left, later brick axial stack towards right. Original
2-room plan with hall window bay left of through passage plus
semicircular rear stair projection; old extension to Eventide
at far right plus wing at right angles to rear, probably
originally a barn.
2 storeys; overall irregular 5-window range with C20 cruciform
casements. The hall window bay is 2 storeys and rises above
eaves with a hipped roof; windows at left and 4th from left
also break eaves and have small hipped roofs. Wide doorway,
right of hall bay, with C20 door and sidelight on its right.
INTERIOR: altered C20 but surviving newel stair and feet of
old trusses visible.
